David has specialised in Family Law for over thirty years. David has been recommended as a leading family lawyer by both Legal 500 and Chambers. Chambers say he is an “ideas man” who is adept at finding creative and cost effective solutions.
David is a leading authority on pre-nuptial agreements and the Reciprocal Enforcement of Matrimonial Orders and has published articles on these areas in Family Law and other professional journals. He is in great demand as a lecturer and regular presents seminars on a wide variety of Family Law subjects to the Legal Profession, including pensions, cohabitation and pre a post nuptial agreements.
David handles complex cases of all types arising from the breakdown of a relationship. He also advises in respect of cases with an international element.
David is regularly asked to take part in programmes on current legal topics by the media.
Career
David trained with Clintons in London and joined Ross & Craig in 1977. He became a Partner in 1978, Managing Partner in 1992 and Senior Partner in 2009.
