Mark Harper, Partner, Withers LLP, London. Specialist in divorce and financial settlement, in particular with an international element and involving offshore trusts. Fellow of International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and Secretary of the European Chapter of the International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.
Mark Harper acted for John Charman in the landmark Court of Appeal decision, the largest award to a wife in English legal history on a contested basis. He also acted for Stuart Crossley in pioneering a new procedure on divorce where there is a Pre-Nuptial Agreement, in the leading Court of Appeal case.
He is co-author of International Trusts and Divorce, Model Letters for Family Lawyers, and of the first textbook on civil partnership, Civil Partnership: The New Law, all published by Jordans.
