Diana read law at Cambridge University and took a Master’s Degree in Criminology there. She then qualified as a solicitor and has spent her professional career at Withers. Her own area of expertise is in Family Law.
On 1 July 2007 Diana stepped down as the Firm’s Chairman in order to concentrate on her work as a legal practitioner and to extend her involvement in the voluntary sector. She is a Trustee of the Institute for Philanthropy, a Trustee of Common Purpose and has an active role as “Spouse of House”, her husband being Principal of Hertford College, Oxford. Diana is also a Governor of London South Bank University.
